BASE BALL – a new game and a new battle everyday

Base ball is an outdoor game played mainly among two different teams with nine efficient players in each team. In this game there will be two teams, the batting team and fielding team. The performer of the batting team tries to hit the ball; the bowling team tries to stop the ball. The team member of the scores runs by completing the square-shaped Baseball Diamond. When the fielding team records three outs they switch between batting and fielding. The squad which scores more runs is stated as winner. A single game is of nine innings when the match is tied at nine innings, extra innings can be played. For the children the game was played less than nine innings. Baseball was started at the mid of eighteenth century. This game was brought by Irish to North America, later it becomes the national game of United States of America. This also called as hardball, in contrast to the unoriginal game of softball.
